Our story

CONOR + ALI BARANSKI

Having been together for over a decade, Ali and I have always dreamed of collaborating in some business venture together, but we were always unsure what that venture would be. With two wee ones and full-time jobs, creating something new of our own seemed to be only a dream at best. When the pandemic changed life as we knew it and my father, David Baranski’s, quaint Baranski Studio & Gallery in Hope, ID would never reopen, taking the studio online seemed like the logical next step. Ali and I had the skills to step in, make the transition a reality, and were honored to be part of this next chapter for my father as an artist. The online Baranski Studio creates a place to showcase and catalogue all of his pieces, appreciate and share his work with a larger audience, and Ali and I hope that it will become a space to celebrate and highlight other artists as well. Also, during these slower times at home, Ali and I rediscovered our passions for designing and creating! To broaden the family business even more, Ali has started collaborating on furniture designs with her family’s timber fabrication business back in Canby, OR. Very soon we hope to add our own creative additions to Baranski Studio in the forms of rustic wooden furniture and décor that brings warmth and nature into homes and that is reminiscent of the Pacific NW.

Thank you for visiting our labor of love! We love hearing from you, so please keep in touch and take care!
